seungmin may not always be given high notes to sing but that doesn't make him any less of a great singer. he knows how to perfectly control his voice and breathing, how much strength he should use to be stable every single time; he works hard a whole lot for the beautiful voice we get to hear, and anyone can practically tell that he has mastered his singing. he doesn't have to reach the highest note ever to prove himself or to show anyone that he's talented. he has that vocal color that touches just about everyone's heart, and that paired with the efforts he put forth, seungmin is the main vocalist stray kids can definitely rely on.

I've said it before and I'm more than willing to say it again, Seungmin's highlight in all of his songs is his uniquely beautiful vocal tone. He doesn't really have to hit high notes or do some runs to make the songs impactful (although those are beautiful as well), when he sings, his tone just brings so much colors and the way he delivers shakes every listener's emotions. That's the kind of singer he is, and that's my kind of Singer. ~

These days he utilizes his belting a lot and I am so happy to hear this. The way he emphasises is very clear and his voice colour is so soothing ugh. His technique and riffs are disgustingly good. I am very happy about his improvement, there is still a lot of potential

@@sl1230 Honestly same. For e.g. I've noticed also the major changes in Felix's dances. Back then he had this rough ball of energy, not being able to control it. Now he dances with more elegance and divides his energy properly. Chan's improved his singing a lot as well. He used to breath so much in between which could be damaging for the voice but now he has decent control. And there are maaany other examples. It is crazy how fast they improve. Their choreographies also keep getting harder. I've learned Boxer and the amount of energy is insane. The footwork is exhausting and so on. Like just wow

Even though I'm (as a MyStay) totally with everyone in the comments about how great it is that Seungmin is covering a Day6 song, I'm surprised no one has said about how versatile Seungmin's tones are/voice is when singing. I don't think I've ever heard him sing this way before in a Stray Kids song, and this also sounds different to the last cover he uploaded. He's becoming, if not already, an amazing vocalist. This Canadian Stay is super proud of you Seungmin!!!
